If you intend to visit the Peace Mural on Inauguration Day and you are coming from or heading back to Northern Virginia via the Rosslyn Metro station, we recommend that you visit the Mural in the afternoon/evening following the Inauguration festivities. You will walk right by the Peace Mural, one block off the Bridge on the southside of M Street. The Peace Mural will be open throughout the evening and till 4am on that day. Alternately (especially during Inauguration Week), if convenient to your starting point, you might consider taking the YELLOW Line to the PENTAGON station, then switch to the Blue Line to ROSSLYN.
A. From the Rosslyn Metro Station, ride the 38B Metro Bus into Georgetown, exit first stop on M Street; B. From the Rosslyn Metro Station, ride the Georgetown Metro Connector Bus C. Walk 15 minutes: Exit Metro Stration and walk down Moore Street, turn right at 19th Street, then left on Lynn St and walk across Francis Key Bridge; Turn right onto M Street and go one block to the Peace Mural Exhibition between 33 and 34th Streets (opposite Kinko's).
