    Note on Inauguration Day (January 20): It is our understanding that Key Bridge connecting Rosslyn (Virginia) and Georgetown
    will be closed to all vehicle traffic except buses. If you intend to visit the Peace Mural on Inauguration Day and you are coming
    from or heading back to Northern Virginia via the Rosslyn Metro station, we recommend that you  visit the Mural in the
    afternoon/evening following the Inauguration festivities. You will walk right by the Peace Mural, one block off the Bridge on the
    southside of M Street. The Peace Mural will be open throughout the evening and till 4am on that day.

       Take Metro Orange/Blue Line to ROSSLYN (Virginia) (opposite Georgetown on other side of Potomac River);
         Alternately (especially during Inauguration Week), if convenient to your starting point, you might consider taking the
        YELLOW Line to the PENTAGON station, then switch  to the Blue Line to ROSSLYN.

    After Exiting the Rosslyn Station, take either of the following:
    A. From the Rosslyn Metro Station, ride the 38B Metro Bus into Georgetown, exit first stop on M Street;
    B. From the Rosslyn Metro Station, ride the Georgetown Metro Connector Bus
    C. Walk 15 minutes:  Exit Metro Stration and walk down Moore Street, turn right at 19th Street, then left on Lynn St and walk across Francis Key
    Bridge; Turn right onto M Street and go one block to the Peace Mural Exhibition between 33 and 34th Streets (opposite Kinko's).

           Take Orange/Blue Line to FOGGY BOTTOM
    Exit Foggy Bottom Metro Station and walk 1 block north to Washington Circle; then walk toward the right side of the Circle and look for the DC
    Circulator bus stop heading west toward Georgetown at K Street/Washington Circle. Exit the Circulator at Wisconsin and M Street, walk three
    blocks west on M Street to the Peace Mural Exhibition between 33 and 34th Streets (opposite Kinko's).

    Other Metro Buses to Georgetown from Dupont Circle Metro:
    Take the "P" Street buses (D2, D3, or D6) and exit at Wisconsin Ave; walk down to M Street, then west. W are between 33rd and 34th Streets
    (opposite Kinko's).

    Driving/Parking
    Driving and Parking in Georgetown is challenging. We do NOT recommend driving during Inauguration Week.

    Parking Garages: (Over 15 Garages, average cost $4-5/first hour; $8-10/first two hours; $16-$20/day

    Street Parking:  (Parking Enforcement is aggressive)
                       Metered Parking: There are Meters along M Street and K Street and the cross streets between them;
                           1-2 hour maximum; 25cents per 15 minutes; have lots of quarters!  
                            Zone Two Neighborhood on side streets North of M Street: Free/2 hour limit/per day;
                   NOTE: No parking on M Street during rush hours (7-9:30am and 4-6:30pm); you will be ticketed or towed;

         FREE PARKING ON SUNDAYS.
